Fun Stuff

This was our first BBQ contest we had ever tried to compete in
and it was a Sanctioned KCBS event. It was NOT a pleasant
experience! The rain was nonstop but we did enjoy meeting
everyone! I am so glad we didn't give up on competing after
this long, wet, cold night! We got a 7th place Call in Ribs for
our first attempt! We then took 1st Place the next year in this
same event out of 35 teams! That gave us the BBQ Fever!

We still are on the hunt for our first Grand Champion and
overall top 10 finish. We came so close last year to finishing
in the top 10. Maybe 2012 will be the year!
